The next meeting of the Oconee River chapter will be Monday, June 16 at Loco’s on the Eastside. Social time starts at 6:30, and the meeting will begin at 7. The program for this month will feature a team discussion of climate change updates and our chapter’s leadership in this area. Thanks to Rich Rusk and the Climate Change committee’s efforts climate change and it’s impact on coldwater fisheries has been adopted as a Critical Focus Area by TU national.
Free casting clinic:
On the 3rd Tuesday of every month (June 17) Jess Jensen-Ryan teaches a no-cost fly casting clinic at Southeast Clarke Park. Clinics begin at 6:00pm and cater to both beginner and intermediate anglers. He has multiple rod and reel set-ups for use during the clinic if you prefer to not bring your own. See you there!
